Jost Van Dyke Preservation Society Sloop News

May 2008

Following our mid-march rollover, April and May were also busy months for Endeavour II. Following our successful rollover, the team was at it the next (Sunday) morning, coating Endeavour II’s interior with epoxy, now that the boat was out in the yard.

During the spring months, the team began fitting Endeavour II’s deck beams.
During the Easter holidays, new students from the BVI High School joined the Island Sloop Project and came over to JVD each morning. Students were involved in numerous projects. Deck Beams were completed, as well as the finishing touches on the spars.

Fair winds! All the best to you out there in cyber space, from all of us here at the JVDPS, stop by and visit the boat or our new office on Great Harbour during your next visit to Jost Van Dyke.
